The production desicsions reflect the pop/rock genre of the video through the fast paced editing and brightly coloured mise-en-scene. This included costume, props and makeup.
I believe the video targets a wide audience which is a good idea for the producers as it will make more money if it is enjoyed by more people. I especially like the outfits because they are bright.
