The target audience of this video is middle aged music fans. This is because they can appreciate the transgression of style through the decades with a sense of nostalgia. The video may also interst the younger generation due to its advanced technological style, young characters and bright colours.

Jack previously left the group as he left college. There were no serious troubles and Steven and I were progressing very well and were pleased with our product. Steven has just informed us that he has also left college which was unexpected but I am confident that I will complete the tasks to a high standard.

We are making good progress with our editing and have discovered that the edit dead line in December 3rd. We are confident that we will complete the task on time.

Looking through the footage in the edit suite, we are pleased with our result. We have used a variety of shots including medium, medium close ups and close ups. The aim of these shots were to portray the change in fashion and appearance through the 70s to the 2000s. We feel we achieved this and are currently discussing adding a scene in te video using members of the class to emphasise the change in appearence. Members of the class are going to dress up in the fashion of each time. We want to have a part where someone is taking the tape out of a viseo cassette to symbolise 'video killing the radio star'.

We have just finished our filming in the TV studio. We have used green screen for the entirety of the filming and are pleased with our descision and the product. We have began editing our footage and will continue to do so this week. We are aiming to have finished our music video by next week.

New idea

3rd November

Our group has chosen a new song to preform. we have changed the narative to include 2 preformers and will now use a different tone and approach to the video. We will be preforming a majority of the song in a studio and hope to green screen a a few scenes within the singers glasses. Prior to this we have also kept some effects from our previous narrative.At the moment we are currently disscussing camera angles and shots, which seem to include a wide use of medium close ups , close ups and extreme close ups held in a steady shot, however we are also in process of finding suitable props to the genre / narrative.
