The form of our video

The performance of the actors in the video reflects the characters' personalities. I believe this was a good use of casting. The narrative of the video holds intertextual reference to the original video, while also introducing a modern feel. Intertextual reference to the rap artist Tiny Tempa's video, Frisky, is evident through use of similar props and effects.

Research

Upon the descision to change our narrative to suit two protagonists, we decided to change our song. We picked the genre because it was a mutually apreciated genre, therefore decided to remain within this genre. The orinal locations, which can be found on our moodboard, were chosen, along with low angle shots, to promote star image. The tall buildings and costume reflected the rock genre.

The target audience of this video is middle aged music fans. This is because they can appreciate the transgression of style through the decades with a sense of nostalgia. The video may also interst the younger generation due to its advanced technological style, young characters and bright colours.

Jack previously left the group as he left college. There were no serious troubles and Steven and I were progressing very well and were pleased with our product. Steven has just informed us that he has also left college which was unexpected but I am confident that I will complete the tasks to a high standard.
